浅草寺に近い、雷門通りと六区興業街を結ぶ。「寿司屋通り一寿会」の発足は昭和23年。80余年の歴史を持ち7割が食べもの屋で、とりわけすし屋が多いため、「すしや横丁」 と呼ばれた商店街です。

アーケード入口のデザインは、商店街のアーケード入り口を指すゲートと呼ばれる部分に特徴的な要素があります。浅草すしや通り商店街のゲート壁面には、浅草地域のイメージを反映した絵が描かれています。浅草は東京の観光名所であり、その中でも有名な浅草神社の三社祭の神輿や、「日本の喜劇王」として知られるエノケン（榎本健一）などがデザインされています。これにより、商店街の入り口から浅草の風景や文化に触れることができる雰囲気が演出されています。
さらに、アーケードの柱には飲食店の行灯をイメージした照明が取り付けられています。これは、商店街が飲食店を含む多様なお店で賑わっていることを象徴しています。行灯の光がアーケードを彩り、温かみのある雰囲気を演出しています。
また、アーケードの円弧状の屋根にはLEDカラーリング照明設備が設置されています。これにより、夜間やイベント時にはアーケード全体が美しいカラーリングで照らされ、華やかな雰囲気を醸し出します。商店街を訪れる人々にとって、一歩足を踏み入れるだけで目を引くデザインや明るい光景が、より一層の魅力を与えています。
浅草すしや通り商店街のアーケード入口のデザインは、地域の特色や文化を取り入れながら、商店街の個性をアピールしています。

基礎 杭基礎で、道路上に建築されたため、地中梁の無い構造である。

屋根 透明性が高く、耐衝撃性に優れるのが大きな特徴のポリカーボネート材を使用
換気ガラリ アーケード基準により上部に設ける通気口のことで、自然に空気を入れ換える役割を果たします。
天井 天井巾を狭く見せる格子にしてあます。
スライド式開閉屋根設備 火災時において、延焼の危険を増大し、避難及び防災活動を著しく阻害するおそれがあるので、アーケードの屋根は開閉する設備が設置されている。
消防設備 警報設備、連結送水管などの消防設備も設置されている
Asakusa Sushiya
It connects the Kaminarimon Street and Rokku Kogyo Street, near Senso-ji Temple. The establishment of "Sushiya Street " dates back to 1948 (Showa 23). With a history of over 80 years, this shopping street is primarily composed of food establishments, with sushi restaurants being particularly prominent. Due to the abundance of sushi restaurants, it is known as "Sushiya Yokochō" or "Sushi Alley."The design of the arcade entrance incorporates distinctive elements in the section known as the gate, which refers to the entrance of the shopping street arcade. On the gate walls of Asakusa Sushiya Street and Tori-dori Shopping Street, there are paintings that reflect the imagery of the Asakusa area. These include depictions of the portable shrines used in the Sanja Matsuri festival at Asakusa Shrine, as well as the renowned Japanese comedian, Enoken (Kenichi Enomoto). This creates an atmosphere where visitors to the shopping street's entrance can experience the scenery and culture of Asakusa.
Furthermore, the columns of the arcade are adorned with lighting fixtures inspired by the lanterns commonly found in food and beverage establishments. This symbolizes the lively presence of various shops, including dining establishments, within the shopping street. The glow from these lantern-inspired lights adds a warm and inviting ambiance to the arcade.
Additionally, the arched roof of the arcade is equipped with LED color lighting installations. This allows the entire arcade to be illuminated with beautiful colors during nighttime and special events, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. The captivating design and bright scenery instantly catch the attention of visitors stepping into the shopping street.
The design of the arcade entrance in Asakusa Sushiya Street and Tori-dori Shopping Street showcases the unique characteristics and cultural elements of the region while promoting the individuality of the shopping street. It offers visitors a captivating experience that combines the local flavor and cultural richness of the area.
